RCV 150

The RCV 150 was designed and developed by Hydro Products Inc. during 1978 to 1980.

The first RCV 150 was ready for delivery 1979, the Vehicle was sent to Scandive in Norway where it was lost at sea during sea trials.

The first sale of an RCV 150 was to Santa Fe Underwater Services this Vehicle was sent to the Ivory Coast ( AFRICA )for a Job on the Witch Queen ( Diving Vessel )unfortunately this vehicle was lost at sea as well.

Due to some design weaknesses the RCV 150 was redesigned and thereafter successfully operated for several years on locations all over the world.

There was 4 vehicles built after this and 6 Vehicles built in total.

The RCV 150 was used for a wide range of activities from Pipeline pull-ins and support for the Shell UMC installation in the North Sea. The RCV 150 was also extensively used for Drill support around the world, you can still find one unit working offshore Brazil operated by Comex Brazil.
